摘要:本文針對(duì)造成書面表達(dá)得分率偏低的原因和《新課標(biāo)》更加注重英語思維和表達(dá)能力的培養(yǎng)這一教學(xué)目標(biāo),提出分階段訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的寫作,才能更有效的提高學(xué)生的書面表達(dá)能力。從高一上學(xué)期抓“句子”訓(xùn)練;高一下學(xué)期仿寫、縮寫、改寫課文;高二上學(xué)期進(jìn)行組句成段、組段成篇訓(xùn)練;高二下學(xué)期訓(xùn)練學(xué)生各種文體的短文;高三階段重在修改和潤色文章等,分階段扎扎實(shí)實(shí)地進(jìn)行訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生具有并達(dá)到較高的寫作水平。關(guān)鍵詞:新課標(biāo)提高寫作能力分階段訓(xùn)練英語教學(xué)

我校是一所綜合高中,有5000多名學(xué)生,學(xué)生的總成績比普高的差,比其他職業(yè)高中的要好,大多數(shù)學(xué)生其他科都好,就是英語基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)相對(duì)薄弱。特別是提起寫英語作文他們就頭痛。

一.學(xué)生英語寫作中存在的主要問題:1.語法錯(cuò)誤,主要是初中的八個(gè)主要時(shí)態(tài)、語態(tài)和名詞單復(fù)數(shù)的錯(cuò)誤,以及主謂不一致、指代不一致、句子混亂、成分不全等。

2.漢語影響了英語表達(dá),有些學(xué)生習(xí)慣把漢語生搬硬套地翻譯成英語,找不到能充分表達(dá)準(zhǔn)確意思的、地道的詞語或表達(dá)方式;如翻譯這樣一個(gè)句子:浙江將要建一個(gè)飛機(jī)場(chǎng),85%以上的學(xué)生都錯(cuò)誤地翻譯成:Zhejiangwillbuildanewairport.

3.句子趨于單調(diào)重復(fù),缺乏變化,不能根據(jù)需要靈活選擇不同的單詞、短語和不同的句式結(jié)構(gòu)

4.篇章主題不夠明確,時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、人物、事件、具體事例不能清楚表達(dá)出來。5.語篇結(jié)構(gòu)松散、布局凌亂,缺乏合適的銜接和過渡。

國家新一輪基礎(chǔ)教育課程改革之風(fēng)吹遍了全國中小學(xué)校。怎樣才能緊跟新形勢(shì),把《英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)》的理念滲透到英語課堂教學(xué)中,進(jìn)一步提高教學(xué)質(zhì)量呢?以往的高考英語題中書面表達(dá)題只有一道,占25分。今年廣東題增加了書面表達(dá)題型的題量和分?jǐn)?shù),英語書面表達(dá)為兩題,占40分,第一題為基礎(chǔ)寫作,第二題為任務(wù)型寫作。這一變化趨勢(shì)也體現(xiàn)了《新課標(biāo)》注重英語思維和表達(dá)能力的培養(yǎng)這一教學(xué)目標(biāo)。這也促使我下定決心在寫作教學(xué)和研究方面下更深的功夫。英語作文教學(xué)向來是英語教學(xué)中的難點(diǎn),學(xué)生寫作的確也存在著各種各樣的問題。

二.怎樣才能提高學(xué)生的寫作能力呢?

首先需要我們廣大外語教師能端正思想,認(rèn)真對(duì)待,決不可以掉以輕心。

平時(shí)注意用恰當(dāng)?shù)姆椒,不斷地鉆研、積累更多的切實(shí)可行的英語作文寫作模式教給學(xué)生,全面了解和貫徹新課標(biāo)理念。這也不失為快速有效全面地解決問題,提高學(xué)生英語寫作水平的好方法。

其次,我們的老師需要對(duì)學(xué)生能進(jìn)行有計(jì)劃、有步驟地系統(tǒng)訓(xùn)練。

因?yàn)橛⒄Z是一門語言,他同漢語一樣,句子的表達(dá)多種多樣,詞匯的運(yùn)用千變?nèi)f化,熟練的運(yùn)用人稱、時(shí)態(tài)、搭配以及組句成段、連段成篇、謀篇布局、承轉(zhuǎn)潤色等能力并非一日功夫可達(dá),要靠長期苦練才能獲得。經(jīng)多年教學(xué)實(shí)踐證明,通過分階段對(duì)學(xué)生進(jìn)行有系統(tǒng)的訓(xùn)練,效果非常顯著。就像我們背誦英語課文,如果每次都把全文讀一遍,讀了幾十遍也不一定能背誦出來,而且效率很低。但是如果把課文分成一段一段一句一句的背誦,那么效果就很好,花很短的時(shí)間就能背誦出來,而且感覺輕松愉快。下面本人就201*年到201*年一個(gè)周期多分階段逐步提高學(xué)生的寫作能力的實(shí)踐總結(jié)如下,與大家共勉。高一:重點(diǎn)抓“遣詞造句”和組句成段,組段成篇的訓(xùn)練1.打好詞匯量基礎(chǔ)

詞匯是英語寫作必不可少的基本要求,要寫好一篇作文來充分表達(dá)自己的思想,必須以足夠的詞匯量為基礎(chǔ),但實(shí)際上大多數(shù)學(xué)生掌握的詞匯量都達(dá)不到規(guī)定的要求,因而在寫作時(shí)也就不能隨心所欲地表達(dá)自己的思想。往往在寫作中出現(xiàn)下列問題:拼寫錯(cuò)誤,影響理解;詞語誤用,表達(dá)不準(zhǔn)確;某一詞語反復(fù)使用,語言表達(dá)缺乏變式,文章顯得單調(diào)乏味;文章中出現(xiàn)大量“造詞”,讓人看了啼笑皆非等。顯然詞匯量不足已成為制約學(xué)生寫作的瓶頸。因此,在平時(shí)的教學(xué)中,重點(diǎn)培養(yǎng)學(xué)生拼讀記憶單詞的能力,掌握音標(biāo)這個(gè)記憶單詞的工具,通過音標(biāo)去記單詞;通過經(jīng)常聽寫單詞、常用詞匯、固定搭配或?qū)m?xiàng)聽寫訓(xùn)練,不斷積累大量詞匯,為寫作打下扎實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。2.理順句型結(jié)構(gòu)

而英文句子主要成分是否殘缺、是否地道,很大程度上取決于英語習(xí)慣用語和句型的掌握程度。因此,可要求學(xué)生對(duì)所學(xué)的常見句型和習(xí)慣用語口頭反復(fù)操練,以達(dá)到爛熟于心、脫口而出的程度。

首先訓(xùn)練學(xué)生的八個(gè)時(shí)態(tài)和被動(dòng)語態(tài),舉一些例子,讓學(xué)生反復(fù)操練。如:他唱歌。讓學(xué)生用八個(gè)時(shí)態(tài)很熟練的說出來:Hesingsthesongeveryday;Hesangthesongyesterday;Hewillsingthesongtomorrow;Hewouldsingthesongthenextday;Heissingingthesongnow.Hewassingingthesongatthattime.Hehasalreadysungthesong;Hehadalreadysungthesongbythetimeofteno`clock.如果學(xué)生不熟悉,又用其他動(dòng)詞繼續(xù)練習(xí),直到掌握為止。然后讓學(xué)生把這些句子改為被動(dòng)語態(tài)。熟練掌握英語各種句子的時(shí)態(tài)和語態(tài)的表達(dá)法是寫好英語作文的重中之重,我們高一教師一定要在這方面花大力氣。其次訓(xùn)練學(xué)生五個(gè)基本句型。通過五個(gè)基本句型的訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生清楚的明白英語句子的主謂賓表定狀補(bǔ)的位置,同時(shí)準(zhǔn)確無誤的靈活的運(yùn)用英語寫出五個(gè)簡單句。

然后讓學(xué)生掌握一些固定的句式,如It`sadj.that/to和makeiteasierforSb.todosth.就是比較典型的句型,上課時(shí)通過造多個(gè)句子或翻譯多個(gè)句子來記住這類句型,考試時(shí),就可套用這種句型造出正確優(yōu)美的句子。同時(shí)有意識(shí)的給學(xué)生提供一些原汁原味的英語句子,讓他們背誦,培養(yǎng)學(xué)生語感和用英語思維的習(xí)慣。通過背誦向?qū)W生輸入大量有效信息并積累素材,這樣學(xué)生在表達(dá)自己的思想時(shí),才能呼之欲出,信手拈來。俗話說,“萬丈高樓從地起”,因此這個(gè)階段是最重要的,也是最艱苦最漫長的的階段,通過培養(yǎng)學(xué)生記憶單詞的能力和反復(fù)練習(xí)句子時(shí)態(tài)和各種句型,學(xué)生不僅熟練地掌握了所學(xué)的新單詞和短語,而且更清晰的領(lǐng)悟了“英語句子”的來龍去脈,為以后的作文打下堅(jiān)實(shí)的基礎(chǔ)。3、進(jìn)行組句成段,組段成篇的訓(xùn)練

1、根據(jù)所給的關(guān)鍵詞和中文的提示來寫作文,這樣組詞成句、組句成段使作文快速提高的效果很明顯。

如學(xué)完新課標(biāo)必修2Unit4WildlifeProtection后,給學(xué)生布置了一篇作文。

3.訓(xùn)練時(shí)遵循人的認(rèn)識(shí)規(guī)律,由簡到繁、由淺入深。先從句子入手,再過度到寫短文。如以寫一篇題為Ourschool的短文為例,最初只給四五個(gè)句子的提示,學(xué)生寫出幾個(gè)簡單句即成,以后把提示內(nèi)容逐步增加,把難度逐步提高。這種緩坡式的訓(xùn)練,使學(xué)生寫做水平逐步提高,而不覺得苦和累。

高二:重點(diǎn)進(jìn)行“模仿創(chuàng)造”仿寫、縮寫、改寫文章和修改潤色文章一、仿寫、縮寫、改寫文章

結(jié)合新課標(biāo)課文進(jìn)行仿寫、縮寫、改寫訓(xùn)練,有利于鞏固所學(xué)的詞匯、短語、句型及背誦課文。那種撇開課文,另找材料進(jìn)行寫作的訓(xùn)練方法是不可取的。新課標(biāo)課文體裁多樣,語言規(guī)范。結(jié)合課文進(jìn)行練習(xí),能使學(xué)生運(yùn)用課文中的詞語、句型及規(guī)范搭配,寫出地道的英語句子。對(duì)課文結(jié)構(gòu)進(jìn)行分析,找出一些關(guān)聯(lián)詞,學(xué)生領(lǐng)悟之后,就能寫出結(jié)構(gòu)比較嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)、層次比較清楚的短文。例如,讓學(xué)生在學(xué)了必修4Unit4Bodylanguage后寫一篇題為Myteacher的短文,要求學(xué)生寫出老師的外貌、性格、教學(xué)態(tài)度、上課的教姿教態(tài)、課堂常用語以及和學(xué)生的關(guān)系等,學(xué)生仿寫起來就比較得心應(yīng)手。

如學(xué)了必修4Unit2Workingtheland后,讓學(xué)生自己用中文口頭概括一下本文的主題大意,再用英語Retellthestoryin6080words。特別要學(xué)會(huì)袁隆平先生一心為公為民,無私奉獻(xiàn)的精神。學(xué)生們寫出來的文章思路都非常清楚,從他們的縮寫作文可以看出,他們的身心都得到很大的震撼和進(jìn)步。

通過高一扎扎實(shí)實(shí)的訓(xùn)練,學(xué)生大多能正確運(yùn)用所學(xué)詞語并做到行文通暢。到了高二,重點(diǎn)進(jìn)行全面的系統(tǒng)的訓(xùn)練,熟悉各種文體以及各種文體的格式和不同文體常用的人稱和時(shí)態(tài)。如記敘文(Narration)要明確四要素:時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)、人物、事件,特別注意時(shí)態(tài);說明文和描寫文(ExpositionandDescription)

要求把事物解說和描述清楚就行;書信格式由信頭(Heading)、稱呼(Salutation)、正文(Body)、結(jié)束語(Ending)和簽名(Signature)幾個(gè)部分構(gòu)成。通知和便條(Noticeandnote)必須說清楚時(shí)間、地點(diǎn)和活動(dòng)內(nèi)容;日記(Diary)

開始寫好日期、周日、天氣情況,正文寫下當(dāng)天所見、所聞、所感和所經(jīng)歷的事情;其他還有電話留言,尋物啟事和個(gè)人簡歷等。不僅讓學(xué)生清楚的記住上述各種文體,而且重點(diǎn)掌握這些文體的格式,筆者認(rèn)為要熟練掌握他們的固定格式,最好的方法是同一類型的作文反復(fù)練習(xí)寫兩次或多次。二、重在修改和潤色文章

寫作文就象學(xué)騎車和開車一樣,重在修改。寫好一篇英語作文,掌握一定的寫作技巧,應(yīng)把握以下幾個(gè)步驟:

首先要認(rèn)真審題立意,明確主題。定文章之靈魂對(duì)命題作文必須認(rèn)真審題,對(duì)自由作文必須立好意。文章要有明確的主題,必須具備4個(gè)條件:準(zhǔn)確、鮮明、深刻、集中。要圍繞題目這個(gè)關(guān)鍵的題眼進(jìn)行作文。

其次要注意結(jié)構(gòu)合理,層次清楚。草擬提綱,打造文章之骨架審好題和立好意。文章布局要做好3件事:安排好層次段落,鋪設(shè)好過渡,處理好開頭和結(jié)尾。如命題作文中有提示句,還要從提示句的關(guān)鍵詞出發(fā),圍繞關(guān)鍵詞開拓思路,發(fā)揮聯(lián)想,記錄下聯(lián)想到的東西,可以是句子或單詞詞組,可以是英語或漢語。

其三要寫出段落主題句。每段的主題句非常重要,是作者思維的起點(diǎn),切題的準(zhǔn)繩,闡述的對(duì)象?吹蕉温渲黝}句,讀者大致了解段落要闡述的內(nèi)容。段落主題句通常是一個(gè)語法結(jié)構(gòu)完整、內(nèi)容概括、用詞簡潔明了的單句。通常將段落主題句置于段落的開頭,可使文章結(jié)構(gòu)更清晰,有說服力。

其四是注意句子通順流暢。

1、檢驗(yàn)的標(biāo)準(zhǔn)主要是句子是否通暢,句子銜接是否自然流暢,該用連詞的地方用了沒有,所用的連詞是否合適。平時(shí)讓學(xué)生學(xué)會(huì)使用過渡詞。如:1)遞進(jìn):furthermore,moreover,besides,inaddition,thenetc.2)轉(zhuǎn)折:however,but,nevertheless,afteralletc.3)總結(jié):finally,atlast,inbrief,toconclude。4)強(qiáng)調(diào):really,indeed,certainly,surely,abovealletc.5)對(duì)比:inthesameway,justas,ontheotherhand,etc.

2、避免寫錯(cuò)單詞或重復(fù)使用同一單詞或詞組。做書面表達(dá)時(shí),我們常常會(huì)碰到這種情況:一個(gè)意思往往因一個(gè)單詞不會(huì)而表達(dá)不清;一個(gè)好的句子因一個(gè)單詞想不起來而不能完成。面對(duì)這種情況,該如何應(yīng)對(duì)呢?下面介紹三種簡便易行的應(yīng)急措施,希望能對(duì)同學(xué)們有所幫助。1)、換用籠統(tǒng)詞2)、換用同義詞、反義詞3)、換用迂回表達(dá)。3.避免句子冗長。盡量使用清楚、簡潔、明了的簡單句等等。

老師在批改他們的作文時(shí),除了把錯(cuò)的糾正過來,最好加一些評(píng)語“Good”、“Excellent、welldone”等,讓學(xué)生有成就感,學(xué)生們覺得寫作文也不是一件很困難的事。在訓(xùn)練過程中要和課文相結(jié)合,以課文為本,再配上我們教師精心準(zhǔn)備的內(nèi)容一步一個(gè)腳印的來訓(xùn)練。根據(jù)新課程理念和我自己多年積累的經(jīng)驗(yàn)。輔導(dǎo)學(xué)生作文,05級(jí)4班李甜同學(xué)在“全國中小學(xué)生《學(xué)英語》杯英語征文大賽”中榮獲全國三等獎(jiǎng)。本人也獲得三等輔導(dǎo)獎(jiǎng)。高三階段,大多學(xué)生已經(jīng)在工作崗位實(shí)習(xí)。在職位上歷練自己的英語寫作水平,并使之趨向于成熟,成為這一階段學(xué)習(xí)的重點(diǎn)。對(duì)英語專業(yè)在職人員來說,熟練掌握英語寫作技能是其立身之本。

“不積跬步,無以致千里,不積小流,無以成江海”。實(shí)踐證明:有計(jì)劃、有目的的訓(xùn)練要比雜亂無章的訓(xùn)練效果要好得多。持之以恒、分階段實(shí)施比高一、高二不訓(xùn)練,留待最后突擊訓(xùn)練效果要好得多。

長期以來,在英語教學(xué)中,關(guān)于如何對(duì)待高一年級(jí)學(xué)生寫作中的錯(cuò)誤,一直是許多青年教師和學(xué)生們感到困惑的問題。在教師一方,每當(dāng)看見學(xué)生交來的作業(yè)中,錯(cuò)誤又多,并反復(fù)重犯,批改起來,既費(fèi)時(shí),又無新意,就感到心煩頭痛。我也有過同感。反觀學(xué)生一方,他們一般寫作認(rèn)真,總擔(dān)心出錯(cuò),可偏又總是錯(cuò)誤不斷。

其實(shí),在外語教學(xué)過程中,學(xué)生出錯(cuò)誤是種非常自然的現(xiàn)象。就象Krashen指出的:“人們不犯錯(cuò)誤,就學(xué)不會(huì)語言!比欢瑢W(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的進(jìn)步與提高,固然要靠獲得新知;但是,能使他們努力改正自己認(rèn)知上的和使用上的錯(cuò)誤,對(duì)其知識(shí)和能力的進(jìn)步與提高來說,其意義和價(jià)值尤為不可低估。通過長期教學(xué)實(shí)踐和探討,我逐漸認(rèn)識(shí)到,學(xué)生在寫作時(shí),能否避免出錯(cuò)或少出錯(cuò),關(guān)鍵還是在教師。在于教師能否耐心地、認(rèn)真細(xì)致地去研究學(xué)生的每個(gè)錯(cuò)誤;在于教師能否掌握學(xué)生為什么常出這樣或那樣錯(cuò)誤;在于教師能否對(duì)癥下病,找出相應(yīng)的有效改正方法。此外,我還領(lǐng)悟到這樣一個(gè)微妙道理,即學(xué)生在寫作中流露出來的錯(cuò)誤,往往對(duì)教師的教學(xué)很重要,有時(shí)還很有價(jià)值。于是,我得出個(gè)結(jié)論,即采取正確對(duì)待學(xué)生英語寫作中錯(cuò)誤的態(tài)度,運(yùn)用“把壞事變好事”的轉(zhuǎn)變式主導(dǎo)教學(xué)藝術(shù),而這其中也體現(xiàn)著教師的教學(xué)素質(zhì)。下邊就我教高一時(shí),針對(duì)解決這一長期存在問題的探討、分析,以及采取的一些有成效轉(zhuǎn)變手段,作一簡明論證。

首先,我對(duì)學(xué)生寫作中所犯的形形色色錯(cuò)誤,粗略歸納為兩大類。第一類:概念型的錯(cuò)誤一、語序錯(cuò)誤例:1.Weareatherehavelunch.

先看第一類錯(cuò)誤。這些錯(cuò)誤很明顯是受“母語”干擾的緣故,整個(gè)句子反映的是本族語的結(jié)構(gòu)。例如學(xué)生經(jīng)常犯的時(shí)態(tài)錯(cuò)誤,總是忘記改寫動(dòng)詞的形式,因?yàn)闈h語就沒有動(dòng)詞時(shí)態(tài)變化,有的只是時(shí)間狀語的變化。再如,InourschoolhasabigPlayground.學(xué)生往往按照漢語的順序,一個(gè)字換一個(gè)字的去澤,忽視了中英文的語序并非完全一樣的概念。犯此類錯(cuò)誤的另種原因,就是練得不夠,不能做到將正確形式脫口而出,信手拈來。甚至一般現(xiàn)在時(shí)第三人稱單數(shù)動(dòng)詞加s這種語法現(xiàn)象,學(xué)生對(duì)此概念本已非常清楚,但仍屢屢一做題就錯(cuò),說明學(xué)生從明白到學(xué)會(huì),到熟練掌握英語的特性,必須要經(jīng)過一段訓(xùn)練過程,也即要有足夠的操練。熟練掌握是練出來的,不是背會(huì)的,那種盲目地讓學(xué)生反反復(fù)復(fù)地背時(shí)態(tài)結(jié)構(gòu),是不明智的。再看第二類錯(cuò)誤。這類錯(cuò)誤一如孩提學(xué)說話時(shí)出現(xiàn)的“錯(cuò)誤”現(xiàn)象,意思能使你琢磨出來,只是用詞不當(dāng)或不會(huì)章法。語言學(xué)習(xí)也是一種創(chuàng)作和發(fā)揮,當(dāng)我們的學(xué)生要表達(dá)自己的意思,但又由于詞語不豐,一時(shí)確定不了如何表達(dá)時(shí),他們就傾向創(chuàng)作了。所以在學(xué)生的作文里,我們常會(huì)看到一些創(chuàng)作。例如,Itisrainingstrongly.學(xué)生造句的用意,我們可以理解到,可在句子中究竟應(yīng)該用什么詞來修飾雨呢?是big?是great?是heavy?是strong?是hard?等等,正是由于他們拿不準(zhǔn),所以便自己創(chuàng)造了。

基于上述這樣認(rèn)真分析并查明原因后,我曾設(shè)想過多種改進(jìn)措施,并學(xué)習(xí)他人的先進(jìn)經(jīng)驗(yàn),經(jīng)過反復(fù)實(shí)踐和操練,終于使學(xué)生寫作中的錯(cuò)誤現(xiàn)象大有改觀。多數(shù)學(xué)生從屢出錯(cuò)轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)榕汲鲥e(cuò),F(xiàn)將我感到作用較大、收效突出的幾項(xiàng)措施,歸納如下:

一、高一年級(jí)學(xué)生剛剛開始練習(xí)寫作,我認(rèn)為教師先不要急于讓學(xué)生成篇寫作,應(yīng)在教師的控制下,采取循序漸進(jìn)的步驟,即讓學(xué)生先練句,再練段,最后練文。

二、結(jié)合學(xué)生實(shí)際,在練習(xí)寫作前,可先介紹一些短篇名作,讓學(xué)生去背。通過背誦,讓學(xué)生慢慢領(lǐng)會(huì)英語語言特性,名作的字句結(jié)構(gòu)特點(diǎn),以及文章中的妙筆等。如此耳濡目染,時(shí)間一久,自己的思維、表達(dá)也會(huì)漸漸成習(xí),這極有助于學(xué)生借鏡、模仿、脫口而出、信手拈來。在此基礎(chǔ)上,再自己造句、練段、成文,其效果會(huì)更佳。

三、學(xué)生交作業(yè)前,教師要先讓他們自查錯(cuò)誤,或兩人一組交互檢查。我認(rèn)為這既是一種指導(dǎo)法,也是一種督促力度。作用力強(qiáng),印象深刻,效果也比教師包攬起來強(qiáng)的多。

四、教師在評(píng)閱學(xué)生作文時(shí),不要急于替學(xué)生改錯(cuò),最好把錯(cuò)處用線條劃出來,并提出鼓勵(lì)性意見或評(píng)語,讓學(xué)生自己去修改,去積極思維,去分辨。最后收上來,教師再批改。五、對(duì)于學(xué)生寫作中出現(xiàn)的創(chuàng)作性或發(fā)揮性錯(cuò)誤,教師千萬不要批評(píng),相反,要鼓勵(lì)和保護(hù)他們這種學(xué)習(xí)熱情。因?yàn)檫@種熱情很珍貴,它的良性發(fā)展,會(huì)成為學(xué)生提高學(xué)習(xí)能力和獲得優(yōu)異成績一種最為積極的因素。只是對(duì)學(xué)生在寫作中拿不準(zhǔn)的詞,或表達(dá)不清的句子,教師需及時(shí)給予具體幫助。
